This document describes the types of information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, when you download, install, register with, access, or otherwise use the Imagine AI: Video Playground mobile application, an AI video generator (the "App" or "Service"). It also outlines how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose that information.

1. What Information We Gather

To deliver and enhance our AI-powered services, we gather information you provide directly, along with data generated through your use of the App and your device.

1.1 Content You Submit

Photos and Videos: Photos and videos you upload for AI-powered features, including AI video generation, text-to-video and photo-to-video conversion, face swap, AI Image effects, AI Video effects, generative fill, cartoon effects, photo enhancement, face retouching, and other video and image features.

Text Prompts: Text descriptions and prompts you submit to our AI models for video and image generation.

Other Voluntary Submissions: Any additional content or materials you choose to process through the App.

1.2 Device and Analytics Information

Device Details: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS and the Advertising ID on Android), mobile network information, and hardware model.

Usage and Performance Information: In-app interactions, features accessed, session duration, and crash and error reports.

Network Details: IP address and general connection data.

1.3 Account Details

Information used to set up and manage your profile, such as your email address. We only collect this if you choose to provide it by creating an account.

1.4 Analytics Tools We Use

Google Analytics for Firebase: Tracks interaction metrics and usage trends.

Firebase Crashlytics: Identifies and logs technical errors and crashes in real time.

2. How We Put Your Information to Use

We use the information we collect exclusively to operate, secure, and improve your experience. This includes using it to:

  • Generate the AI videos, photos, and visual media you request
  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot the App's performance and features
  • Guard against technical issues, fraudulent activity, and violations of our Terms of Use
  • Provide customer care and technical support
  • Fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations.

Our Privacy Commitment: We do not sell, rent, or otherwise monetize your personal information to third parties.

3. How AI Processing Works and What We Share With Third Party

The App functions as a unified gateway to advanced third-party artificial intelligence models. To power our core video generation features along with AI photo generation, video and image editing, face-based effects, and visual filters your submitted content and the minimum information needed to process your request are securely sent to our AI service providers, which include:

  • Google (Gemini)
  • OpenAI
  • Replicate
  • Runway

Depending on which features you use, the data sent may include:

  • Text prompts, messages, and the context needed to generate a response
  • Photos, images, or files you upload for analysis, editing, or generation
  • Images or videos you upload for video or image generation or AI effects
  • Basic technical metadata needed to process your request, such as request timestamps, API request identifiers, model selection, and language preferences.

This information is shared with our providers solely to process your requests and return AI-generated results. We do not use your submitted content for advertising or marketing. Content sent to our third-party AI providers is used only to generate your requested result and is permanently deleted from their systems once processing is complete and your result has been delivered.

4. How Long We Keep Data, and How We Protect It

Retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary to run the Service and meet our legal obligations. Content processed by the AI is transient and is not archived beyond the scope of your active session.

Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. That said, no method of digital transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How We Handle Photos, Videos, and Face Data

The App's core purpose is AI video generation, letting you upload existing photos or videos, or generate entirely new video content from text or images. Related features include text-to-video and photo-to-video conversion, AI photo generation, AI headshot creation, face swap, face retouching, cartoon effects, AI sticker creation, generative fill and erase, background removal and replacement, magic eraser, video and photo enhancement and upscaling, and various AI video and photo effects and filters.

When you upload a photo or video containing a face to use any of these features, that content including any face data it contains is handled as follows:

What we collect

The photo or video you upload for processing, including any faces visible within it, solely to carry out the feature you selected.

How we use it

Only to produce the specific result you requested. We do not use face data for facial recognition, identity verification, biometric profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering your requested output.

Sharing with third parties

Your content is transmitted securely to our AI processing partners, including Google AI models, strictly to generate the result you requested.

Storage and retention

We do not store your uploaded or generated photos and videos on our servers. This content exists only during processing and is removed immediately once your result has been delivered. Our partners likewise do not retain your content after processing is complete.

7. Privacy of Children

Imagine AI: Video Playground is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take prompt steps to delete it from our systems.
